The correct CQ zone for some Antarctic bases is not always apparent from QSL cards, and other sources. In fact, a number of QSL cards for Antarctic stations state the CQ zone incorrectly. eg R1AND. The correct CQ zone can be determined from the longitude coordinate of the base, from the following table. Refer also to CQ Antarctica zone map below.
