Many thanks to  Bob, WB2YQH  for writing most of this solution.

Once you have designed your QSL label from the Label Settings screen, you will be able to print QSL labels and address labels from the OQRS requests submitted for your Call or Calls.

The label printing function is found by clicking OQRS tab, then OQRS Management Tool button.

Here you will find the various options for printing labels. There are several printing options based on how the OQRS card was requested—Direct or Bureau.

The two red links near the top are “Non-OQRS QSL Management” and” Label Settings”.

Non-OQRS QSL Management takes you to a menu where you can search the log by callsign and manually queue up a label in either Bureau or Direct buckets. This is helpful when receiving paper QSLs via post or incoming bureau in order to reply to them.  [see here for more info about this tool]

The menu bar on the right of this screen allows you to select which queue you want the label to go to. Label Settings takes you to the label design screen you already created in case you want to make further changes. [see here for more information on label settings]

Next, select the label you will print on from the “Label Type” menu drop down. All the labels/envelopes you selected in Label Settings will appear here. After selecting one, a sample page will appear at the bottom of the screen.

The first label position will be in “yellow” to indicate where printing will begin. This can be moved to any label position by single-clicking on the new position. This is helpful when using a partially used label sheet.

On the right side of the screen are the label queues which store the OQRS and Non-OQRS QSL Management tagged QSOs. They are “OQRS Buro”, “OQRS Direct,” “Buro”, “Direct”, “All”, “SWL” and “Already Printed”.

Buro and Direct are the Non-OQRS Management labels you created manually (i.e. paper cards). Clicking on any one of these will display the calls of the requestor vertically.

There is also a “Sort” tab which will sort any of these categories by Date, Call or DXCC and redisplay the calls in that order. This allows, for example.   to print cards by country and call area, saving time when batch printing Buro cards and avoids manual sorting.

Additionally there is a “Search” box which provides for searching the queue that you selected. This aids in finding a specific Call if you desire.

Each Call also has a check box to its left [see 2 in diagram below]. You check individual Calls to print or check the all-inclusive box [see 1 in diagram below] at the top. Additionally, for the OQRS direct queue, you can select to print all the addresses by pressing on the envelope icon [see 3 in diagram below] or all the QSO labels [see 4 in diagram below].

This is helpful if printing directly onto envelopes or QSL cards in a separate print run.

You are now ready to begin printing.

In the center of the screen are several menu buttons to access and remove labels from the print session you are about to complete.

You now need to get the QSO info from the right-side list onto the label template shown here. There are three methods to accomplish that:

You can press the “AutoFill Labels” button or Drag/Drop with the blue icon next to each Call or just click on the check boxes of the labels you wish to print. You can also use a combination of the above. For example, if you want to print starting from the 3rd label in the list, just drag and drop the 3rd label onto the the first empty label then press the autofill button. If you want to print the labels 6-55 you can also check label 6 and then label 55 and select the button labelled Print Range: 6-55. Note that  AutoFill starts at the position of the “yellow” label and continues for the capacity of ONE label sheet. You can also print up to 1000 labels that are in the queue at any one time. If you have 5000 labels, you can print them in 5 batches of 1000s.

Once you have moved over the labels to print, then press the “Print Labels as Shown Below” button and follow the directions as the screens indicate. ClubLog will open windows in PDF format displaying the labels you are about to print. If you have clicked on checkboxes on the right then you will need to click on the  “Print Selected Labels” option.  If you have opted for selecting “All QSO Labels” box, you get an option to “Print a range of labels” within the queue [Maximum of 1000 labels at each time]. If you have selected to print a range, you get an extra option shown below:

You will then be asked to download the created PDF. Once the pdf is displayed, you just need to click on the Print button selecting the correct printer. It is important that you disable any function that auto-resizes the page to fit! The reason is that CL creates the pdf file EXACTLY as it should be printed. You can also save this pdf for your records. If for example there is an issue with the printing process half way through, you can just use the printer driver to resume printing starting from the last page printed.

Once you are happy that the labels have printed correctly, you will need to answer YES to the question below. THIS IS IMPORTANT as this the only way that CL marks the QSOs as printed and removes them into the "ALREADY PRINTED QUEUE".

When you select to flag these qsos as printed, the DX station requesting your card will be able to see that you have printed the card by going through the OQRS request options which show an updated icon as shown below:

CL give you another option to  “Delete the Labels from Queue” which will remove them from the right side queues permanently. This option is only useful if you have erroneously put a QSO into the queue and you are not planning to print a label for it. It will NOT flag this QSO as printed unless you select YES to the question shown in the image above.

CL gives you the option of downloading an ADIF for the printed QSOs. This can be done either after printing when given the option or by clicking on relevant check box for  qsos first  and then pressing on the “Export Selected QSO to ADIF 3.0” button.

Special notes for printing address labels:

1. CL provides you with a way of adding a manual address to print by looking it from QRZ.com or allowing you to enter it manually. This can be achieved by DOUBLE-CLICKING on a label in the template and entering the address as a continuous lines with commas in the correct position e.g. John Major, 10 Downing street, London, W1A, UK [Note there are no new line characters]. You could also enter the following code to bring 5B4WN's address from QRZ.com e.g. QRZ:5B4WN This will retrieve the address but please note that this may be out of date and it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to check the validity of the address before you proceed with printing the card.

2. CL OQRS tools provides you with multiple options about the way addresses are printed. These options are selectable from within the Label Settings option:

The Font size is self explanatory. The second option adds the country name in the selected language from the drop-down menu. This can be useful for countries that use a different language than English and can accelerate the post-office sorting process.
