If you use OQRS, it's highly likely that Japanese, Chinese, Russian or other non-Western characters will appear in the address data for your QSLs.


You must configure PayPal to support this. 


  1. Log into your Paypal account
  2. After login click on this link:
    https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/customerprofileweb?cmd=_profile-language-encoding
  3. Make sure your website language is set to the correct language
  4. Click the more options button
  5. Make sure encoding is set to UTF-8
  6. Then save settings
