Pratas Island, aka Dongsha or Tung Sha Dao,  was added to the DXCC countries list In December 1995. QSOs count for Pratas from 1994-01-01.

The following announcement was made by ARRL in the ARRL DXCC News Release (ARLD065) of 22 December 1995::

 :

"The ARRL DX Advisory Committee (DXAC) has voted 12 to 4, and the Awards Committee,

has voted unanimously to add Pratas Island, BV9P, for contacts made 1 January

1994 and after. This is based on DXCC Rules Section II, Point 2(a) (Separation by

Water). Pratas Island, located in the South China Sea, is administered by Taiwan.

QSL cards will be received by the DXCC Desk starting April 1, 1996. Cards received

before that date will be returned without action.

Because of QSLing irregularities, it will he necessary for anyone who has a picture card

from the January or March 1994 operation to obtain a replacement card from QSL

manager KU9C. (The picture cards are not acceptable for DXCC credit.)"

See Ranking in "Most Wanted" league.

The IOTA reference for Pratas is AS-110.

Pratas is a whitelisted DXCC entity. The following table lists stations known to have been QRV from Pratas, and which are thought to be good for DXCC credit.

The callsigns below are the only ones that Club Log will map to Pratas, and only for QSO dates within the exception date range. These callsigns have been taken from QSL cards and other sources.

Callsigns not listed below, or QSOs outside the exception date range, will be not be mapped to Pratas, but will be mapped as INVALID.

The date range below is based on verifiable data. It is quite possible that some of the operations started earlier and/or finished later than the dates stated.

Please advise any missing  callsigns, to Alan, 5B4AHJ, email address on QRZ.COM, or via the Help Desk.
