The 50th anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) day was celebrated in May, 1995.
The 50th anniversary of VJ (Victory in Japan) day was celebrated in August, 1995.
In May and August, 1995 special event stations could use the GR prefix in lieu of the usual GB prefix.
GR represented VE or VJ day as appropriate, the suffix signified the event in the normal way.
Club Log maps all GR callsigns in this period to England unless there is a callsign exception.
Club Log currently has callsign exceptions for:
