DXCC Notes in QST November 1998 reports:
"The ARRL Awards Committee has accepted a recommendation of the DXCC Advisory Committee to add Temotu Province of the Solomon Islands to the DXCC List The addition will be effective with contacts made beginning 2359 UTC on March 31, 1998 and after.
Temotu Province includes the Santa Cruz, Reef, Duff and Vanikolo Islands groups. They are located more than 356 kilometers from the main grouping of the Soloman Islands."

Whitelisting
Temotu Province is a whitelisted DXCC entity. The following table lists stations known to have been QRV from <> Islands and which are thought to be good for DXCC credit.
The callsigns below are the only ones that Club Log will map to Temotu Province. These callsigns have been taken from QSL cards and other sources.
Callsigns that are not listed below, or QSOs outside the exception date range, will be not be mapped to Temotu Province but will be mapped as INVALID.
