RSGB DXNS #1158, dated 1985-03-12, reports: "The DTI, in resonse to a request from the RSGB, has agreed to issue the secial prefix GV, in lieu of GB, for use only by special event stations in the United Kingdom, for the period 5-12 May. GV prefixes will be available in the following groups: GV0+3, GV1+3, GV6+3, GV8+3, GV2+2/3, GV4+2/3. "
The RSGB HQ station was QRV as GV2HQ on 08 May.
