G2xxx Callsigns

Modified on Mon, 1 Sep, 2014 at 10:47 AM

The following refers to callsigns having a 3-letter suffix, and one of the prefixes G2, GC2, GD2, GI2, GJ2, GM2, GU2, GW2, and also the special event prefixes GE2, GO2, GQ2, GR2, GV2

The G2xxx series of callsigns was issued in the range G2AAA to G2HZZ.

Why do I get error messages about G2xxx callsigns in my upload report?

As callsigns in the range G2IAA - G2ZZZ were not issued, Club Log maps these callsigns as "INVALID".

Note: The term INVALID in Club Log only means that the QSO is not valid for DXCC.

These errors are usually the result of a busted (broken) callsign, for example, logging a G3xxx callsign as a G2xxx callsign.
