Palmyra and Jarvis Islands have been on the DXCC list since 1945. QSOs count for Palmyra and Jarvis Islands from 1945-11-15.

The DXCC enitity of Palmyra and Jarvis consists only of Palmyra Atoll and Jarvis Island, and from 2016-03-29 also includes Kingman Reef. There are no satellite islands.  

Kingman Reef is considered part of the entity of Palmyra and Jarvis, following the deletion of the DXCC entity of Kingman Reef on 2016-03-29,


Palmyra Atoll is one of the Northern Line Islands, whereas Jarvis Island is one of the Southern Line Islands.


Palmyra Atoll was privately owned until December, 2000 when ownership was transferred to The Nature Conservancy.

The IOTA reference for Palmyra is OC-085. The IOTA reference for Jarvis is OC-081.

The KP6 prefix was used for Palmyra & Jarvis until the US callsign revision of 1978-03-24, from which date the prefix became KH5.

Palmyra and Jarvis is a whitelisted DXCC entity, currently for QSOs on or after 1978-03-24. The following table lists stations known to have been QRV from Palmyra and Jarvis, and which are thought to be good for DXCC credit.

The callsigns below are the only ones in the whitelist period that Club Log will map to Palmyra and Jarvis, and only for QSO dates within the exception date range. These callsigns have been taken from QSL cards and other sources.

Callsigns in the whitelist period that are not listed below, or QSOs outside the exception date range, will be not be mapped to Palmyra and Jarvis, but will be mapped as INVALID.
