Club Log support staffed by volunteers

Wake Island has been on the DXCC list since 1945. QSOs count for Wake Island from 1945-11-15. 

The DXCC enitity of Wake Island consists  of Wake Island, and two other small  islands, and a reef.  

Wake Island lies not far north of the Marshall Islands. 

Wake Island is administered by the US Office of Insular Affairs, U.S. Department of the Interior.

All activities are managed by the U.S. Air Force.

The IOTA reference for Wake Island  is OC-053.

The KW6 prefix was used for Wake Island until the US callsign revision of 1978-03-24, from which date the prefix became KH9, with AH9, NH9 & WH9 also being used.

Wake Island  is a whitelisted DXCC entity, currently for QSOs on or after 1978-03-24. The following table lists stations known to have been QRV from Wake Island , and which are thought to be good for DXCC credit.

The callsigns below are the only ones in the whitelist period that Club Log will map to Wake Island , and only for QSO dates within the exception date range. These callsigns have been taken from QSL cards and other sources.

Callsigns in the whitelist period that are not listed below, or QSOs outside the exception date range, will be not be mapped to Wake Island , but will be mapped as INVALID.
