Propagation

The Propagation screen brings together current solar conditions, historical SFI and K-index charts, and the Propagation Wizard for analysing paths between two locations. It is useful when you want evidence, not just instinct, about whether a band is worth trying between your part of the world and a distant entity or zone.

The top section shows the latest solar readings when they are available. Below that, the Propagation Wizard asks for a Source and Destination, each chosen as a DXCC entity or CQ zone from a searchable list. Source defaults to your own resolved entity when the app can determine it. Filters optionally restrict by month, last twelve months only, or SFI range. Tap Run Propagation Report when both ends are set; the button stays disabled until they are. Results show real Club Log activity between the two places by band and month. When VOACAP prediction is available for entity-to-entity paths, the report combines that model with observed activity; if you pick a zone instead of a country on one side, you may see real activity only. VOACAP is credited in a footer on this screen.

Solar history charts below cover rolling SFI and K-index. Pull down to refresh solar data; if you already ran a wizard report, refresh re-runs it as well. Solar and wizard data require a connection. The wizard can open with destination pre-filled when you arrive from Check. Geographic filter ideas overlap with Live Bands.
