DX Cluster

DX Cluster shows a live stream of DX spots and RBN/Skimmer reports, grouped by DX callsign and updated as new reports arrive. It is the classic cluster view: who is on, on what band, spotted by whom, and how long ago. Need filters use your award progress for the active callsign so you can limit the list to countries or slots you still chase.

Below the title, a callsign filter field narrows the list; clear it to see everything that matches your other filters. Band chips let you pick one band or All Bands; only bands enabled in Settings appear. Mode chips offer All Modes, CW, Phone, and Digital; note that ordinary DX spots do not carry mode, so mode filtering behaves differently for Skimmer rows. Each list row shows the DX call, entity, band, frequency or mode when known, spotter, age, and Most Wanted rank when available. Tap a row to open Check for that entity.

Pause in the top left stops the list updating; Resume continues. Paused spots remain until they age out. The sort menu offers Recency, Band, Callsign, and Most Wanted, and also links to Dismissed callsigns (with a count when any are hidden). The filter menu lets you choose All Sources, DX Spots only, or Skimmer only. Under Need Filter you can turn filtering off, show New DXCCs (entities never worked on any band), or New Band Slots (entity and band pairs not yet worked). Skip FT8 (mostly) hides most FT8 spots. Age Out removes spots older than 2, 5, or 10 minutes.

Swipe a row toward the right for Alert, which toggles an expedition watch for that callsign (the same family of watch as in Live Alerts). Swipe left for Dismiss, which hides that callsign until you restore it from the dismissed list in the sort menu.

The feed runs only while this tab is visible and the app is in the foreground; it pauses in the background to save battery and reconnects automatically if the connection drops. Without a network you see a connection or offline message rather than an empty list. Your active callsign and band preferences in Settings shape need filters and which band chips appear.
